SCVSO & Symphony Band

The University of Wisconsin River Falls Symphony Band and St. Croix Valley Symphony Orchestra will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 7, in the William W. Abbott Concert Hall at E.H. Kleinpell Fine Arts.
Professor of music Kris Tjornehoj will conduct.
The program includes a world premiere by UWRF Professor Emeritus J. Michael Roy entitled Triquetra: The Trinity Celtic Knot, featuring Denny McGinn on the horn.
Other highlights include music from The Damnation of Faust, Hansel and Gretel and symphonic dances from West Side Story.
The band is made up of UWRF’s students and the orchestra of students and musicians from the greater St. Croix valley area.
The St. Croix Valley Symphony Orchestra has provided music to the St. Croix valley for about 50 years.
The cost for the performance is $8 for adults, $5 for seniors, $2 for students. Tickets are only available at the door.
